Bull rescued from Hurricane Harvey and brought to a sanctuary to live out his life.

Among those who responded to some in need post, Hurricane Harvey was Mike Stura. Mike is the founder of New Jersey based Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue and has spent decades working toward a more compassionate world through animal activism. Without any clue of what or who he'd encounter when arriving to assist anyone possible, he crossed paths with a cattle rancher who asked for Mike's help in finding any of his surviving herd. Upon a successful rescue attempt of one of the farmer's bulls—out of a six-foot deep water-filled gully—and eleven more animals that day Mike asked the farmer if he could take the bull back to his NJ sanctuary. The farmer agreed and newly named 'Babe' will now live out his life at Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue for his remaining days. So awesome!
